A stretch of 7 meters and 20 centimeters could therefore be equipped with a bamboo roll fence in one of the three pipe thicknesses mentioned for 300, a little over 400 or 690 euros. However, despite the packaging-friendly and lightweight shipping form in the roll, you still have to add the costs for bulky goods. A bamboo roller fence can be installed immediately after unpacking and does not need to be assembled first. However, some accessories are required for installation, for example binding wire when installing on an existing metal fence. The individual bamboo sticks are attached to each other with wire, either tied or shot through. In addition, most rods have the typical bamboo ridges that separate individual pipe sections from each other. This also creates small gaps between the bamboo sticks, which prevent 100% visibility.
