Houseplants in the office have a number of advantages as they improve the indoor climate. They increase the humidity, can serve as a natural room divider or are used as an air purifier.
Humidifier
Although all plants release moisture into the environment through evaporation, some do more to increase office humidity than others. That's why they are considered natural humidifiers for dry air or heating air.
Areca palm (Areca catechu)

In addition to natural humidifiers, there are a number of office plants that are intended to additionally purify the air and thereby contribute to a better indoor climate.
Dieffenbachia (Dieffenbachia camilla)
